The course explores the narrative representation of love. We shall read five novels: Pamela (Samuel Richardson), Persuasion (Jane Austen), Wuthering Heights (Emily Bronte), Jane Eyre (Charlotte Bronte), Lady Chatterleys Lover (D. H. Lawrence).
Literatur will be announced at the beginning of term
Leistungsnachweis short paper and, optionally, long essay (module paper), three ECTS/LP each
