Romanticism and after: A journey through 250 years of British poetry - Einzelansicht

The BA course is designed as an introduction to generic aspects of late 18^th- to 21^st-century British poetry. It focuses on basic contemporary methods and approaches of analysis and introduces to aesthetic concepts in English poetry since Romanticism.
With this survey motivation, this course will cover both highlights of British canonized poetry/movements and more marginal voices and includes inherent or explicit problematisations of aspects of e.g. gender and ethnic identity.
