This course is specifically designed for and compulsory for students in the MA programme Anglophone Modernities in Literature and Culture in their first or second semesters. It is taught by a range of lecturers in literary and cultural studies, and will discuss a range of texts which introduce to the various meanings and implications of the term `modernity` in Anglophone discourses.
Literatur Reading assignments for the individual sessions will be made available on Moodle by the beginning of the semester.
Leistungsnachweis In-class test at the end of the semester.
