Introduction to African American Literature - Einzelansicht

This seminar offers an overview of major works, genres, and periods of African American literature.

Please note that you will have to cope with an intensive reading load to profit from this course.

Throughout the course, you will be expected to be able to comment on the reading assignments, and there will be spontaneous quizzes to test your preparation of the material.

Additional requirements: a brief oral presentation and two papers: a) minutes of a session and b) a response paper with research questions.
