Choosing the best Method for your research question - Einzelansicht

The seminar addresses the question which methodological approach produces which knowledge. During the seminar several qualitative and quantitative approaches (survey analysis, content analysis, and experimental designs) will be discussed. Building on potential research questions formulated by the students as well as on selected publications, the advantages and disadvantages of different methods will be assessed. The aim is that by the end of the seminar all students participating are able to decide which method to use for which question. The seminar is offered in cooperation with the Berlin Graduate School for Transnational Studies (FU Berlin).
