E-Learning in the EFL Classroom: Competences, Methods and Scenarios - Einzelansicht

This seminar introduces students of English as a Foreign Language (EFL) to the use of digital media in the classroom. Starting with a general introduction about the relationship between digital media and the traditional compentencies of foreign language education  we will then (in the second part of the seminar) explore the use of technologies as diverse as digital whiteboards, podcasting and collaborative online tools (Blogs, Forums, Wikis) as didactic tools. The third part of the seminar is devoted to models and scenarios which have proved usefull for employing new media in ways that support both the improvement of traditional EFL skills and compentences as well digital competency in pupils.
