In this seminar you will learn to take into consideration the plurilingual and multicultural children in your foreign language teaching. This includes reflecting your attitudes, perspectives and behaviour as a teacher towards the children as well as using different methods to help and support the special needs these children might have. You will gain knowledge on how to support their plurilingualism, the development of their mother tongue and cultural identity, on how to support them with problems in learning in the planning phase, in the classroom, in exam situations etc. You will also obtain and create practical material to be used in the foreign language classroom. Moreover, methods on how to bring the multiculturalism forth in class in a positive way will be discussed.
