This block seminar is the preparatory part of a three-weeks project excursion prior to the March 2018 "Formulaic Literatures Across the Globe" spring school in Delhi. The participants in the excursion will develop research projects which are to be conducted during their stay in Delhi. The course will provide essential background information on India as a country as well as the metropolitan area of Delhi and will provide guidance to students developing their own research projects. Dieses Blockseminar ist der vorbereitende Teil einer dreiwöchigen Exkursion im Vorfeld der im März 2018 in Delhi stattfindenden Spring School "Formulaic Literatures Across the Globe". Die an der Exkursion teilnehmenden Studierenden werden Forschungsprojekte entwickeln, die während ihres Aufenthalts in Delhi durchgeführt werden sollen. Der Kurs wird wesentliche Hintergrundinformationen zum Land Indien wie auch der Metropolregion Delhi vermitteln und die Studierenden bei der Entwicklung ihrer eigenen Projekte unterstützen.
