This course is aimed at students of linguistics who have little or no prior knowledge of computational linguistics. This course brings a discussion about the actual technical development in computational linguistics and the theoretical linguistic background of these tools. For the final evaluation, the student will present a project where they apply informatic tools for linguistic analysis. Critical thinking is an assert for the success of this course.
