Predicting Global Environmental Policy - Einzelansicht

This research-oriented seminar combines applying a multi-party, online negotiations model ("Predictioneer's Game") with substantive predictions of global and international environmental policy.  Students will undertake forecasts of hitherto unresolved negotiations challenges in the fields of global and international environmental policy, write highly structured, individual actor papers, and undertake group predictions of policy outcomes, culminating in group presentations and group papers.  Students are required to have at least taken one overview course in international relations and, ideally, one course on environmental policy.

The course uses the portfolio approach to grading.
