Introduction to statistical data analysis - Statistik I - Einzelansicht

This course will be taught completely online, using zoom. Lecture notes will be provided.

This is part 1 of a two-part course. The second part of this course will be taught in summer and will focus exclusively on linear mixed modeling.

We will be studying statistics from the ground up. We presuppose no background in statistics or R. We will begin by teaching R, and then we will work through some important statistical concepts, namely, probability distributions, the sampling distribution  of the sample mean, the central limit theorem, the one-sample and two-sample t-tests, and the paired t-test, simple linear modeling, and multiple regression.  This course prepares the student for the summer semester class (part 2).
