Here you'll find the link for our introductory Zoom-meeting on Tuesday, November 3rd.
Welcome to the online-seminar Algorithmic Government. This seminar is organized in four consecutive chapters - and not in weekly sessions. Each chapter consists out of several milestones with deadlines, which serve to fulfill the specific learning objectives of each chapter. This seminar adresses the challenges of the introduction of algorithmic procedures and - even further - of artificial intelligence (AI) in public administration. We'll discuss potential and already existig use cases as well as questions of discrimination, ethics, legitimacy and acceptance.
The seminar will be held completely online and as asychronous as possible. We will have several Zoom-meetings, but the general workflow will be an asynchronous one. All relevant information and weekly updates will be available on Moodle. If you are interested in participating, please visit the first Zoom-meeting (as indicated on Moodle) in the first semester week.
