This seminar -- jointly given together with Psychology department and also open to the MSc "embodied cognition" -- will provide an introduction to the field of "human/robot interaction", from a psychological perspective (what kinds of processes do humanoid robots trigger in humans? how can they be used for psychological studies?) as well as from a natural language processing perspective (how can verbal communication be modelled with such robots? which particular demands does such a situated interaction setting put on the language processing?).
This will be a reading- and presentation-based class, and it will be expected that all participants present at least one topic.
The seminar will be held online. The link to join the first meeting (April 13th, 2pm - 4pm) will be posted here in time.
