Lerninhalte	In this course we will focus on the syllable as a phonological and prosodic unit. We will investigate the temporal aspects of syllabic organization using examples from several languages. We will first cover some theoretical aspects and then we will work with kinematic (articulatory) data. This is an advanced course and students are expected to be familiar with basic concepts of phonetics and phonology. Please bring your laptops in class as we will use them for exercises!
