Structural aspects in molecular biology and genome research - 6 week practical - Einzelansicht

This course is only offered upon personal request and suggestion for a topic related to the subject. We are offering this practical in collaboration with the lecturers of the module "Molecular Biology and Genome Research" eg for students who want to learn how to visualize structures in genome biology or have any other projects in mind that requires structural biology knowledge. The practical course involves mainly computational work and can in principle be taken during the semester. It will require to learn and apply Chimera. After the 6 weeks students will be able to visualize structures and generate movies using chimera.

Lecture and seminar 'Molecular Biology and Genome Research' must have been taken in the winter semester for this practical course.
