In this course, we will look closely at the sources that deal with critical questions regarding euthanasia and other close questions bothering those who are caring for people before death. We will start our readings in sources that deal with this question in the ancient time: Talmud and the Midrash - and from there on we will turn to rabbinic discussions from the Middle Ages and the modern era.
