The Seminar Structural Dynamics of Molecular Systems is intended for Master students in Chemistry or neighbouring disciplines, who are interested in (ultrafast) experimental studies. The Seminar is part of the module BWP-1 "Vertiefende Askpekte der Chemie". We will mostly read and discuss recent reviews (from Chemical Reviews) and latest literature in the area of multidimensionional spectroscopy (2D-IR) and ultrafast diffraction experiments with relevance for studies in chemistry. The seminar is normally an in-person activity, where active participation in the discussion (and lots of questions) happen.

As this term is different, due to the restrictions for in-person teaching, there is no set time-slot for the seminar yet.

As there are already students who will take this course, this seminar will be offered and not cancelled even if participation is limited. However, if you are interested to join the seminar, please get in touch by email (henrike.mueller-werkmeister@uni-potsdam.de).

Ideally we find a timeslot for all interested students for a synchronous meeting, either on Zoom or in person. In principle, it would also be possible to have a block seminar at the end of the winter term, if thus is required.

Please register already for the Moodle-Course associated with the seminar: BWP-2-1: Structural Dynamics of Molecular Systems, the password is SD20.
