UNIcert III/2 Englisch der Wirtschaftswissenschaften - Einzelansicht

This is the second and final semester of the specialized language course which prepares students for UNIcert III English for Economics and Business Studies. The course is open to students who have completed UNIcert III/1 English for Social Sciences, Economics and Business Studies. Cross-entry is possible with a placement test score of 80 and above.

Course attendance is mandatory. Students must attend 80% or more of the scheduled classes. If a student fails to meet the attendance requirement, they will not be permitted to take the certificate exams at the end of the semester. There is a one-time fee of 20€ for the certificate.

Students will develop and refine their speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills through the following activities:

-Business case study analysis: intensive group study of a business case in students' chosen business area, writing and presenting the case analysis

-Listening, reading, discussing and writing about timely issues such as deglobalization, economic models, economic crises, monopolies, mergers and aquisitions, technology in the workplace, and diversity in business and economics.

-Independent grammar and vocabulary study will help ensure that students perform at their best on the exam.
