Join our intensive, hands-on course running over two consecutive weeks, with engaging 3-hour sessions each day (2 SWS). Whether you're new to image analysis or looking to sharpen your skills, this course covers the fundamentals of image processing, introduces powerful software tools, and guides you through real-world examples to help you develop your own workflows.
Bring your curiosity—and your laptop, if you have one! If you don’t, just contact Dr. Schneider in advance to arrange one. By the end of the course, you'll be well equipped to apply image analysis independently in both research and applied settings.

This course is designed for up to 8 Master’s students who are also enrolled in the lecture and seminar "Current Aspects and Methods of Plant Cell Biology" with Prof. Markus Grebe (under Elective Modules BIO-B-WM4, BIO-B-WM5, or BIO-B-WM6). The course covers only the two-week internship of the elective module and is not graded.

If spots remain after the registration deadline, they will be randomly assigned to students combining the practical with one of the additional lecture/seminar modules from BIO-B-WM4, BIO-B-WM5, or BIO-B-WM6.
