Course description / Kursbeschreibung (Teacher: Tom Heaven)
In this course we will investigate the relationship between language and law. We will consider forensic linguistics, but also other areas of investigation in which an analysis of language can better help understand law and legal situations.
The four key skills of reading, writing, listening and speaking are developed.
Group projects on a chosen topic make up a key part of the course.
Most classes will take place at Griebnitzsee, although some classes will take place on Zoom.
Classes on 24th October are due to take place on Zoom.

Testing / Leistungserfassung
A 90-minute written exam.
