Description


We shall read major texts from the British SF canon, among other things, novels and stories by Mary Shelley, H G Wells, Brian Aldiss, Arthur C Clarke and J G Ballard. Our focus will be on the utopian and dystopian aspects of science fiction. Moreover, the course introduces students to narrative analysis. 
Literature will be announced at the beginning of term
