The seminar provides students with a general knowledge about purposes, fields, approaches and methods of comparative education research. Based on case studies of different nature, advantages, merits and difficulties in the practical analysis of foreign systems of education will be explored, focusing on countries such as the United States, Germany and Japan. Students will also have the opportunity to concentrate on one aspect of one or more educational systems. The Seminar will be held in English. Students of all levels of English proficiency are welcome to discuss, analyze and present their findings in a friendly environment and thus train their English language skills in a specific field of research.
