International Political Economics I - Single View

Students are expected to study the recommended literature in advance and to participate in all course sessions. They are required to write an exam at the end of the term.

This course presents various theories and schools of international political economy. The institutional structure and characteristics of international trade and the history of the global economy will be analysed theoretically and empirically. One objective is to provide students with theoretical tools and analytical language which enable a critical understanding of the international political economy by taking current theoretical controversies into account.
