This course will trace the historical development of the European integration process. Beginning with the first steps after the Second World War, the several stages of deepening, widening, and institutionalization from the Coal and Steel Community, to the European Community and ultimately the European Union will be analysed.

The sessions are held in English. Active participation is encouraged.
