Betreut von Lehrkräften und Dozenten an einer Schule im Land Brandenburg sammeln die Studierenden wöchentlich in einer festen SPS-Gruppe (5-6 Studierende) erste berufsrelevante Erfahrungen im komplexen Handlungsfeld Englischunterricht. Dabei erproben sie sich als Lehrende und entwickeln ein Verständnis für die Vielschichtigkeit didaktischen Denkens und unterrichtspraktischen Handelns. Sie beobachten Englischunterricht und unternehmen eigene Unterrichtsversuche (2 Stunden).

In den begleitenden Auswertungsgesprächen wird Unterrichtspraxis in Beziehung zu bisher erworbenen fachwissenschaftlichen und fachdidaktischen Kenntnissen gesetzt subjektive Theorien von Englischunterricht werden aufgebrochen und verändert.
