Kommentar

The course will provide an advanced introduction to public management and its fundamental functions and issues. Focusing on the specific context of public sector organizations, it will be an overview regarding the particular context, managing resources, leadership, organizing, and the challenges of managing strategy and performance. Therefore, major reform approaches will be mentioned, as well as governance-related issues. Major functions and challenges of managing public organizations will be analyzed and discussed. Both theoretical perspectives and practical tools are taken in account. 

 

The number of credits you will be able to acquire will depend on your study program and the respective ”ECTS-weight” that is foreseen in the course in your study programme.
