What does Judaism have to say about education?

Based at the well-known phrase from Mishlej, we will first explore general learning theories. In a second step we ask how does Jewish learning differ and what content do we want Jews to learn? We will discuss different educational concepts like freedom versus indoctrination, formal versus informal education, private versus public schooling to name a few. At the end of the class, you will create your own learning video filled with your insights and interpretation of this course’s title.
