(Neo-)Republikanismus - Single View

Dieses Vertiefungsseminar beleuchtet die Politische Theorie des Republikanismus. Die ersten Wochen werden einem kurzen historischen Überblick dienen, bevor wir uns der Wiederbelebung des Republikanismus im 20. Jahrhundert zuwenden (Stichwort Neo-Republikanismus und Non-domination). Im letzten Teil des Seminars werden wir auf aktuelle Entwicklungen des Neo-Republikanismus eingehen, und uns insbesondere mit der Frage auseinander setzen in wie fern (falls überhaupt) der Republikanismus zur sozial-kritischen, emanzipatorischen Theorie taugt.

Hinweis: Die Seminarsprache ist Deutsch. Allerdings wird ein Großteil der Quellentexte im englischen Original gelesen werden, weshalb sehr gute Englischkenntnisse unerlässlich sind.
