Challenges of 21. century Judaism - Einzelansicht

The seminar presents some of important topics and questions of 21^st century from a Jewish perspective. Students will be thoroughly discussing themes such as social justice, climate change, animal rights, gender, feminism, LGBTQ+, euthanasia, COVID19, the State of Israel, secularism and fundamentalism from the perspectives of prominent Jewish denominations.

This seminar will be held online.

For successful conclusion of this seminar one presentation of one chosen topic is required. This presentation can be substituted with equivalent paper delivered after the end of the semester. Regular attendance, active participation in class and preparation are also required.
