Please follow the "comment" link above for more information on comments, course readings, course requirements and grading.Focused on women`s literature, this course provides an overview of key techniques and theories for textual interpretation and critical analysis. The main question and concern with which we will approach the material is the conceptualization of time and the socio-political implications of such conceptualizations.
This course will convene virtually Mondays, 10 to 12 am, starting from April 12th (except for two asynchronous sessions in May). A zoom link to the meeting will be available on Moodle, as will be the rest of the course material.
For those of you who would like head start on the reading material, we will be discussing Toni Morrison’s Beloved, Marilynne Robinson`s Gilead, and Virginia Woolf`s Mrs Dalloway alongside several critical essays on the topic:
You will need to have read Toni Morrison`s Beloved by 03.05.2021 !!!
You will need to have read Marilynne Robinson´s Gilead by 31.05.2021
You will need to have read Virginia Woolf´s Mrs Dalloway by 21.06.2021
