In this research seminar, we will study methods for solving Bayesian inverse problems by using dimension reduction, low-rank approximations, and model order reduction.
If you are interested in participating (with or without credit), you must sign up on PULS or contact the instructor by e-mail. All important announcements will be sent by e-mail.
The research seminar will take place online, via Zoom.
Participants must have taken courses in (or have a working knowledge of) analysis, linear algebra, measure-theoretic probability theory, and functional analysis.
To receive credit for participating in this seminar, one must give a 90-minute presentation on a research paper. The choice of research paper will be decided by the participant and the instructor.
