This is the continuation of the introductory course in practices of pastoral care and theology for clergy serving in Jewish communities. While the primary focus of the course is the local synagogue, the material will be relevant to other settings as well. We will be looking at traditional and contemporary Jewish and academic sources on pastoral care. The course will contain both a theoretical insight into the field of pastoral care, as well as room for practical experience and exchange. The seminar will take place online, however, on 2 – 3 dates, which will be announced in time, the lecturer will be present and teaching face-to-face.
