Theoretical biological physics - Einzelansicht

In this course the fundamental molecular processes involved in the
physics of living systems will be presented. This includes aspects
such as gene regulation, DNA physics, chromatin, passive and active
transport in cells, and cell-cell communication. On larger scales
the course will cover population dynamics and disease spreading.

Prerequisites: Students will need a solid understanding of
statistical mechanics and thermodynamics, on the level of the TP IV
course at the University of Potsdam.
