Kommentar	This course will introduce to the principles of thermodynamics and how they can be used for understanding geological processes. You will learn about the thermodynamical state functions and how they can be determined. We will discuss what controls mineral stability, how mineral reactions can be used to deduce formation conditions of mineral assemblages. All topics will be associated by exercises to enhance understanding. The course will start on Oct. 21, 10:15
