Hinweis: Diese Lehrveranstaltung wird von Dr. Jenny Jakisch durchgeführt. Termin der ersten Sitzung: 25.10.22
Multilingualism is omnipresent in EFL classrooms of all levels. This entails teaching students with diverse language backgrounds as well as teaching students to become multilingual through institutional foreign language learning. Primary EFL teachers play a special role in offering learning opportunities for the development of multilingual competencies as well as language (learning) awareness.
This course will equip participants with theoretical background knowledge as well as practical tools to engage with (emerging) multilingual learners. In addition to analysing existing methods and materials, participants will get the opportunity to develop teaching techniques that are suitable for integrating multlingualism into regular primary EFL lessons.
Please note: Once you have signed up and been admitted on PULS, you will get an email to let you know how to access the Moodle course. If you can not (yet) access PULS and would like to attend this course, please send an email to the instructor.
