Recent War History in Social Science - Einzelansicht

Military situations (Algeria, Afghanistan, Middle East, perhaps Ukraine) will be analyzed in their discursive effects. The empirical facts will be less relevant than their narratives and presentations. Further considerations will focus on the effects on politics and public awareness. Students will be dealing with diverse kinds oft exts, e.g. scientific, journalistic, press, graphic, or trivial. 

Will be published soon. For those who concentrate on an Afghan topic a spart of the course, the Afghan Archive will be fully accessible. There will be reference books in the institute library. 

Presentation (if required according to Module up to 30 minutes) and paper (45.000 characters)
