Political Theory of Climate Change - Einzelansicht

This research-led seminar offers in-depth analysis of contemporary discussion within the area of normative climate change politics and climate ethics. The seminar will critically investigate the basic assumptions underpinning much of contemporary climate politics. We will look at proposed pathways to a just climate transition, such as green capitalism and degrowth. 

The seminar is exclusively run in English.

For passing the seminar:

- Reading the seminar texts and active participation in class

- One critical text analysis (2 pages - details follow in class)

For passing the module:

- A term paper (Hausarbeit) in English, French or German (12-15 pages text)
